[UKFSN Status] ADSL 2 - How to tell if you can get it

We've had a number of emails since last night's announcement of the
launch of the new ADSL 2 services asking how to tell if you can get the
new service.

As stated in the announcement yesterday you can find this out directly
from the Sam Knows website http://www.samknows.com/broadband/search.php

Simply enter your line telephone number into the form at the URL above
and then select your exchange to get the information on it.

You need to look for the 21CN WBC Status field in the BT Wholesale
information section. If it states the exchange is enabled then you can
get the service. If it states an RFS date then you should be able to get
ADSL 2+ services from that date, subject to BT completing the upgrade on
time.

Note that BT have falled behind a little in the past few weeks so if
your exchange shows an RFS date in the past few weeks but not enabled it
probably isn't ready just yet.
