[UKFSN Status] Normal Service Restored

Over the past few days UKFSN has had a lot of problems arising from the
failure of one of the core servers and a number of other servers being hit
by fallout from that.

I have now managed to get the core server back into service so everything
should be back to normal now.

I have also managed to get the UKFSN email filtering service back online
and bring the mailing list server back into service as well - fixing the
core server gave me the chance to be here in Docklands to effect the
necessary hardware fixes.

At this point I have identified 2 servers that I need to completely
replace with new hardware. I have the new hardware in place but I have not
effected the switch over yet as I will be carrying out a few additional
changes while moving things over so as to ensure better resilience and
better performance.

During the past 3 days I have already made a number of changes which were
already in the pipeline as part of the process of restoring services
following the core server failure. These changes will enable me to move
UKFSN forward and hand over direct control of DNS records to customers
among other things.

It's Stupid O Clock now and everything seems to be working properly so I
will go home and have some rest. The rest of today (Monday) I may be a
little slow in responding to non urgent support requests as I have things
to catch up on.
